It can sometimes be difficult to know exactly what grade of wire you will require for the temperatures they will be working with, therefore, we have decided to make this easier for your by providing you with a list of different grades and their working temperatures:

304: 500°C

304L: 500°C

316: 650°C

321: 850°C

347: 850°C

309: 900°C

310 / 310S: 1000°C

314: 1000°C

Exotic Alloys:

Incoloy Alloy ds: 1050°C

Inconel 600: 1100°C

Inconel 601: 1150°C

---

Plastics:

Teflon (PTFE): 260°C

Polypropylene: 160°C

ETFE: 200°C to +150°C
